Description

Describe the bug

Just turned on Ph4 vm in VMware Workstation 17 and all of a sudden, the Alt-F2, F3, .... keys do not work. Only Alt-F1 works. When I restored to a previous snap shot, everything works but when I shut down, and turn of VMware workstation and start it again, the Alt keys do not work again. I check all the virtual machine settings, and nothing has changed. Grabbed input works.

Reproduction steps
  1. Run Ph4 in vm in VMware workstation 17
  2. Shutdown or poweroff
  3. Login again
    ...
Expected behavior

Alt-F2, Alt-F3, ... keys supposed to work.

Additional context

I never had this problem before since using Ph4 for quite a while. I checked the vmx and the settings look ok. Nothing has changed other than shutting down Ph4 and VMware workstation.

Research direction

No repository file, test, or entry point is identified in the issue. Reproduce Photon in VMware Workstation 17 using the listed shutdown and login steps, then compare Alt-F1 with Alt-F2 and later function keys. Done means the Alt-F2, Alt-F3, and subsequent keys work after restarting the VM and VMware Workstation.
