Description
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The current boot screen uses a white background. This makes it really hard to read custom grup menu specifications (i.e. when using a kickstart file from an http server)
Describe the solution you'd like
Could you change the background color to something that would contrast with the white color of the command line
Describe alternatives you've considered

Research direction
The issue names only the boot screen and custom GRUB menu text; it provides no file, test, or entry point. Start by locating the boot-screen implementation and checking how menu text is rendered. Done means the background contrasts with white command-line text and custom menu specifications remain readable.
