Research direction

Start by reproducing the globe projection zoom behavior with React 18, react-map-gl v7.0.10, and Mapbox v2.0.0 in the listed browsers and operating systems. Compare zoomed-out and zoomed-in rendering, then verify that globe zooming remains smooth without distorted or missing-looking tiles.
