Description

Description

In Google Cloud, I have setup vector rendering, and styles to hide labels. On the Google Map Preview this works, but after linking and specifying the correct mapID in the object, the labels still hide, but the vector rendering is gone.

Steps to Reproduce

Make any style with vector rendering, link the style to the map in google, then put that MapID in the object. The style will apply, but the vector rendering is gone.

Environment
  • Library version: latest
  • Google maps version: weekly
  • Browser and Version: Arc/Safari/Google Chrome
  • OS:MacOS latest

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue with a Google Cloud vector-rendering style linked to a MapID, then pass that MapID to the object and compare the result with Google Map Preview. Trace how the MapID and style options are handled, and confirm that the linked style still applies while vector rendering remains enabled.
