Description
Description
I was surprised to find that v0.9 dropped support for two-way Jupyter bindings (i.e., ipywidgets) entirely (see https://github.com/visgl/deck.gl/pull/8854). There was also no mention of this at all in the release notes.

Research direction
Start by reviewing PR #8854 and the v0.9 release changes to identify where two-way Jupyter binding support was removed. Reproduce the Python/Jupyter notebook integration with ipywidgets, then verify that two-way binding works again and that the omission is documented in the release notes.
