Description

  • Your Hyper.app version is 3.4.1. Please verify you're using the latest Hyper.app version
  • I have searched the issues of this repo and believe that this is not a duplicate

  • Any relevant information from devtools? (CMD+OPTION+I on macOS, CTRL+SHIFT+I elsewhere):
  • Is the issue reproducible in vanilla Hyper.app?

Issue

I unistalled and tried reinstalling hyper and it seems it is not deleting previous files so that I can really start afresh. How do I solve this?

Research direction

The report names no source file, test, or entry point; start by locating Hyper’s Windows uninstall and reinstallation handling and the files retained between installs. Done should be defined as a verified clean reinstall that removes the intended prior files, but the issue does not specify the expected cleanup scope.
