Description
-
I am on the latest Hyper.app version
-
I have searched the issues of this repo and believe that this is not a duplicate
-
OS version and name: MacOS Sonoma 14.5 (23F79)
-
Hyper.app version: 3.4.1
-
Link of a Gist with the contents of your hyper.json: https://gist.github.com/OneComputerGuy/4970515fbcad46d652919caf9036c6ff
-
Relevant information from devtools (CMD+ALT+I on macOS, CTRL+SHIFT+I elsewhere): N/A
-
The issue is reproducible in vanilla Hyper.app: No, Background color transparency will be needed.
Issue
When enabling the transparency of the terminal, sometimes ghost shells or outputs of previous commands are visible, sometimes are visible all the time and some are visible only when the shell looses focus.
I've tried with vanilla config with only transparency, enabling and disabling webGLRenderer, no plugins are installed and still the issue persists as seen here:
This has been reported previously on https://github.com/vercel/hyper/issues/2719 and https://github.com/vercel/hyper/issues/6131 but is unclear if there was a fix on hyper for it or if the issue is somewhere else.

Research direction
The payload names hyper.json, the transparency setting, and webGLRenderer, but no source file or test. Start by reproducing the issue with the linked configuration and compare renderer settings while using DevTools; done means previous shells and command output no longer remain visible with transparency enabled.
