  • OS version and name: macOS - Sonoma 14.3

  • Hyper.app version: Latest - v3.4.1

Issue

Is it possible to change the theme of Hyper to sync with the OS? When the OS is using dark mode, switch Hyper to a dark theme and vice versa with light mode.

Research direction

The issue names no file, test, or entry point. Start by locating Hyper’s macOS appearance handling and theme-selection entry points, then determine how OS light and dark mode changes are observed. Done means Hyper switches between corresponding light and dark themes when the OS appearance changes.
