Research direction

Start by reproducing plugin installation in Hyper.app 3.4.1 on macOS 14.3 Sonoma using the linked hyper.json configuration, and observe the “unable to get local issuer certificate” failure. No source file or test is named; done means identifying and fixing the certificate issue so the plugin check completes successfully.
