Keyboard shortcuts are completely broken

• I am on the latest Hyper.app version

• I have searched the issues of this repo and believe that this is not a duplicate

• OS version and name: macOS 13.1

• Hyper.app version: 3.4.1

Issue

First off: I can't really find any documentation on how to change keyboard shortcuts or which shortcuts are used by Hyper. But that's not the issue, however I would be thankful if you could point me to those resources. The documentation under https://hyper.is/#cfg completely lacks any info on how to configure shortcuts or which shortcuts are used at all.

Now to the issue: Basic standard macOS shortcuts valid everywhere in the system won't work in Hyper. For example the text selection shortcuts (OPT+SHIFT+Arrow L/R) or (CMD+SHIFT+Arrow L/R). They both just print the letters C and D.
Even overwriting them doesn't change this behaviour.
A similar issue is #6853, where I also got the config for overwriting keyboard shortcuts. However this issue just got completely ignored.

Many other shortcuts won't work, print random letters (C/D) or do different thing all together.

Would be nice if there could be some consistency and enable shortcuts in Hyper which work everywhere in macOS.

Start with the keyboard-shortcut configuration described in the Hyper configuration documentation and compare the behavior with issue #6853. Reproduce the macOS 13.1 failures in Hyper.app 3.4.1, then verify that standard selection shortcuts work and configured overrides no longer print or trigger unexpected letters.
