Description

  • I am on the latest Hyper.app version
  • I have searched the issues of this repo and believe that this is not a duplicate
  • OS version and name: MacOS 12.4 Public Beta
  • Hyper.app version: 3.2.3
  • Link of a Gist with the contents of your .hyper.js: Hyper.js Gist
  • Relevant information from devtools (CMD+ALT+I on macOS, CTRL+SHIFT+I elsewhere): N/A
  • The issue is reproducible in vanilla Hyper.app: N/A

Issue

When I start a new session of Hyper I receive this error notification:

I have node installed with Homebrew:

So I'm not really sure why this is popping up. It doesn't seem to cause any issues. I couldn't find a related issue that helped with node specifically. But if this is a duplicate, I'm sorry.

Research direction

Start with the new-session plugin update path and the environment used to launch Hyper, using the reported macOS 12.4 setup, Homebrew Node installation, and linked .hyper.js gist. Reproduce the notification and inspect the devtools output if available; done means plugin updates no longer report “env: node: No such file or directory” when Node is installed.
