  • Relevant information from devtools (CMD+ALT+I on macOS, CTRL+SHIFT+I elsewhere):
  • The issue is reproducible in vanilla Hyper.app:

Issue

Using neovim in hyper with Nvim-tree leaves black marks(see screenshot below) in hyper. They disappear if I make another tab or open a new window.
I have tried disabling all plugins, the issue persists.

Research direction

Reproduce the black marks in Hyper.app 3.2.0 on macOS Monterey 12.1 using Neovim with Nvim-tree, including a vanilla Hyper.app configuration. Compare the behavior after opening another tab or window; done means the marks no longer appear during or after the Neovim session.
