Description

  • I am on the latest Hyper.app version
  • I have searched the issues of this repo and believe that this is not a duplicate
  • OS version and name: Ubuntu 21.10
  • Hyper.app version: 3.1.4
  • Link of a Gist with the contents of your .hyper.js: Gist
  • Relevant information from devtools (CMD+ALT+I on macOS, CTRL+SHIFT+I elsewhere): N/A
  • The issue is reproducible in vanilla Hyper.app: Is Vanilla

Issue

The window border on Ubuntu looks like the Windows border.
Hyper border:
Hyper border
Normal window border (from Gedit):
Gedit border
I do have a White Sur GTK theme, but the issue still happens with the default theme.
Any help would be appreciated!

Research direction

Start by reproducing the window border on Ubuntu 21.10 with Hyper.app 3.1.4, comparing it with Gedit under both the default and White Sur GTK themes. The issue provides no source file or test entry point; done means the Hyper border matches the expected Ubuntu window styling and the result is verified against the reported setup.
