Lag on OS X Big Sur on App Expose / Application Windows

• OS version and name: MacOS Big Sur 11.6

• Hyper.app version: 3.1.4

• The issue is reproducible in vanilla Hyper.app: Make the window a large size (do not maximize the window, simply scale it manually to be a large portion of the screen), use the appropriate gesture (3 finder swipe up) or hotkey (ctrl + up arrow) with Hyper selected.

Issue

Upon opening the App Expose in MacOS I get quite a bit amounts of lag if hyper is in the foreground. While it passes quick, it heavily impedes my workflow. Is there any workaround to prevent this behavior? I've attached a quick clip below to showcase the behavior.

Reproduce the lag in vanilla Hyper 3.1.4 on macOS Big Sur using a manually enlarged window and App Expose via the three-finger swipe or Ctrl+Up shortcut. The payload names no source file, entry point, or test; done would require identifying the cause and documenting a verified workaround or fix for this scenario.
