Description
Hi everyone,
There seems to be a lot of issues regarding this and Hyper does not provide any solutions regarding these problems we might be having, which by the way, seriously?
Not a single dev from hyper reached out to these different posts, this itself speaks very loud of them.
Anyways,
I'm here to provide two possible solutions, one for each operating system.
For Mac, this worked for me:
If you previously had a ~/.hyper.js file, delete it and open Hyper again.
Hyper will generate a fresh new config and it should work.
For Windows 10
As provided by @SajjanKarn:
Open the CMD as Administrator and run:
gpupdate /force
After this, uninstall hyper and remove its folder from these two directories:
%appdata%
&
%localappdata%
Install Hyper Again and restart your PC.
I hope this helps you lot.

Research direction
The issue reports that Hyper 3.0.2 fails to open on Windows 10 and macOS, with separate configuration and reinstall workarounds described in the report. Start by reproducing the launch failure on the affected operating systems; done means Hyper opens reliably without requiring those workarounds.
