Description

I use the US International keyboard for á, é, ñ etc. (am doing it now) by effectuating the following command:

setxkbmap -layout us -variant intl

This works everywhere in Ubuntu 20.04, absolutely in every application.
But not when I use the hyper terminal (neither on the command line nor in text editors).
Hope this can be fixed! Thanks for a great terminal!

Research direction

No source file or test is named in the report. Reproduce the dead-key behavior in Hyper on Ubuntu 20.04 using the shown setxkbmap command, then trace terminal keyboard input and compare it with other applications. Done means accented characters appear correctly in the terminal and its text editors.
