Description

  • Your Hyper.app version is 3.0.2. Please verify your using the latest Hyper.app version
  • I have searched the issues of this repo and believe that this is not a duplicate

  • Any relevant information from devtools? (CMD+ALT+I on macOS, CTRL+SHIFT+I elsewhere):

  • Is the issue reproducible in vanilla Hyper.app?

Is Vanilla

Issue

No matter what version of Hyper.is I install on my Windows 10 system I always get the same Uncaught Exception Error.

image

This happens on initial installation and then again every time I run Hyper.

I have no way of correcting it or found any workarounds. I have been using alternative terminals while I wait for this to be fixed.

Research direction

No source file, test, or entry point is named. Start by reproducing the startup and installation failure in vanilla Hyper on Windows 10, then inspect the reported DevTools ENOENT exception and PowerShell configuration. Done means Hyper starts and installs without the uncaught connection error.
