Issue

Very often I get a black blocks around the line while I'm typing.

Here is the same with vanilla hyper

I'm wondering, maybe my .vimrc can be the reason of the issue.

UPD: Vim is not the issue, because it can be reproduced even out of the vim

Research direction

The issue names no source files or tests; start by reproducing the black blocks while typing in vanilla Hyper on macOS Catalina and compare the behavior outside Vim. Use the provided screenshots and DevTools entry point to narrow the rendering problem; done means normal terminal rendering while typing without depending on the Vim configuration.
