Description

  • I am on the latest Hyper.app version
  • I have searched the issues of this repo and believe that this is not a duplicate
  • OS version and name: Linux Mint 19.3 Tricia
  • Hyper.app version: 3.0.2 (DEB Package, amd64)
  • Link of a Gist with the contents of your .hyper.js: My .hyper.js
  • Relevant information from devtools (CMD+ALT+I on macOS, CTRL+SHIFT+I elsewhere): Nothing
  • The issue is reproducible in vanilla Hyper.app: Yes

Issue

When I press the Home or End key, the terminal acts weird and input a Tab+F/H. sing the same config (fish shell, oh-my-fish) in others terminals like Tilix, GNOME Terminal, this behavior doesn't occur.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the Home and End key behavior in vanilla Hyper 3.0.2 on Linux Mint with the fish shell and oh-my-fish configuration described. Compare the result with Tilix or GNOME Terminal; done means Home and End no longer produce the reported Tab+F/H input.
