Issue
I was on a WSL environment and everything was working good with Hyper, not a problem at all.
But I decided to go to Linux, using the Elementary OS. With Hyper installed, I started using it but then it got slower and slower. When I scrolled up, Hyper was super laggy with a terrible experience.
My computer has 16GB of RAM and it was not even close to the limit. I also have a i7-8750H, so there's no reason why that was happening.
No servers were running, I was just setting up my environment with everything that I need, cloning repos and installing it's dependencies.
When opening Hyper again, everything was good but I decided do cat the history of commands. When I did that, everything was good. Scrolled up for a couple of seconds and everything was good, but then the laggy cameback.
Looking at my system monitor, I have plenty RAM and CPU left, like a lot.
It's been a while since I'm a Hyper user, but never had this problem and it's currently unusable. The default terminal is working good, this problem does not exists with it.
Any clues?

Research direction
Start by reproducing the lag in vanilla Hyper.app on Elementary OS with a large command history, using the supplied .hyper.js only as configuration context. Compare scrolling after reopening Hyper with the default terminal, and consider the issue done when scrolling remains responsive with many lines while normal terminal use still works.
