Description
- [x ] I am on the latest Hyper.app version
- [ x] I have searched the issues of this repo and believe that this is not a duplicate
- OS version and name: Pop!OS 19.04
- Hyper.app version: 3.0.2
- Link of a Gist with the contents of your .hyper.js: Haven't changed .hyper.js
- Relevant information from devtools (CMD+ALT+I on macOS, CTRL+SHIFT+I elsewhere): N/A
- The issue is reproducible in vanilla Hyper.app: Yes
Issue
When running hyper in i3wm it is nearly unusable. Many events, such as switching workspaces, or installing plugins, seem to cause the app to freeze and become unresponsive. Other times the app will begin to display the contents of other workspaces. I think this could be an Electron issue, as I have noticed another Electron app behave similarly in i3, but I have used other Electron apps with no issues on i3.

Research direction
No source file, test, or entry point is identified. Start by reproducing the freezes and workspace-content crossover in vanilla Hyper.app 3.0.2 under i3wm on Pop!OS, including workspace switching and plugin installation; done means identifying the cause and resolving the reported unresponsiveness or display mixing.
