- OS version and name: Fedora 30
- Hyper.app version: 3.0.1_canary.4-3438
- Link of a Gist with the contents of your .hyper.js: https://gist.github.com/abyss7/1b4c6626c629fcab0802dc943849781b
- Relevant information from devtools (CMD+ALT+I on macOS, CTRL+SHIFT+I elsewhere): N/A
- The issue is reproducible in vanilla Hyper.app: don't know
Issue
There is a Linux (or X11) default feature called Compose Key, which allows to input custom Unicode symbols. Works like this: Compose-> - will produce → symbol. But inside Hyper the result is only > symbol. In my case the compose key is Caps Lock.

Research direction
No source file or test entry point is named. Start by reproducing the Compose Key sequence in Hyper.app on Fedora 30 and inspect the input behavior through the listed DevTools entry point; done means Compose-generated Unicode symbols appear instead of only the final character.
