Description

  • I am on the latest Hyper.app version
  • I have searched the issues of this repo and believe that this is not a duplicate
  • OS version and name: OSX 10.14.4
  • Hyper.app version: 3.0.0
  • Link of a Gist with the contents of your .hyper.js: https://gist.github.com/talon55/6b59bf77eca4df88fb96806618e7ebff
  • Relevant information from devtools (CMD+ALT+I on macOS, CTRL+SHIFT+I elsewhere): N/A
  • The issue is reproducible in vanilla Hyper.app: Haven't tried w/ Vanilla, but the same config/plugins work for version 2.1.2

Issue

Since upgrading to v3.0.0, scrolling over the terminal actually scrolls the terminal window itself rather than the program open within it (eg. less). Downgrading to v2.1.2 restores the previous functionality.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the scrolling behavior in Hyper 3.0.0 on macOS with a program such as less, then compare it with Hyper 2.1.2 and the vanilla configuration. Done means mouse-wheel and trackpad input scrolls the program's content correctly without breaking ordinary terminal-window scrolling.
