Research direction
No source file, test, or entry point is identified. First reproduce the generic app icon after updating Hyper 3.0.0 on OS X 10.11.6, including in vanilla Hyper.app, and inspect the available issue details for packaging clues. Done means the correct Hyper icon remains visible after updating.
