Description

I'm using git bash with the latest (canary5) on windows and have been finding that something has been happening in the last few canary versions where all tabs/panes that are open freeze up and don't respond to input at all. Sometimes they will 'wake up' after waiting for a while but most times they are completely dead until I kill hyper and restart. More detail to follow

Research direction

Start by reviewing the issue thread and reproducing the lock-up on Windows with Git Bash using the canary5 build, comparing it with the recent canary versions where the regression began. Done means Hyper's open tabs and panes continue accepting input without requiring a restart.
