Description

Hi:

I tried this & atom config popped up, but my main attraction to hyper is the shortcut key from ubuntu that matches jupyterlab. Unfortunately, I really do not like Mac OS shortcut keymap.
Is there a way to copy the keymap file from Ubuntu to Mac OS for hyper? Or set it the same. My main reason for moving to Hyper from Terminator, iterm2, tilix, etc... is the consistency. The keymap config right now is confusing. Pls, let me know how to keep everything consistent. I really do not care if Atom keymap on Mac Os is redone. Actually, welcome the consistency with ubuntu.
Thanks much,
One BUG note on Ubuntu. Neither preference nor Ctrl-, bring up the preference screen, which makes this operation hard.

Research direction

No file or test is named in the issue. First reproduce on Ubuntu whether Preferences and Ctrl-, fail to open, then inspect Hyper's preference and keymap entry points across Ubuntu and macOS. Done means preferences open reliably and the shortcut behavior can be made consistent between the two platforms.
