The text disappears when using visual mode in vim editor

• I am on the latest Hyper.app version
• I have searched the issues of this repo and believe that this is not a duplicate

• OS version and name: WSL Ubuntu 16.04 on Windows 10 64 bit
• Hyper.app version: 2.0.0

• The issue is reproducible in vanilla Hyper.app: I'm using hyper-dracula and hyper-always-on-top, but this issue also happens in vanilla Hyper.

Issue

The text written on vim disappears when using visual mode to select words.

I found that only the white text disappears. I'm using hyper-dracula theme, but it happens in vanilla hyper too. How can I solve this problem? Or, Please give me a hint as to which parts of the code I should check.

Reproduce the problem in Hyper 2.0.0 on WSL Ubuntu 16.04 using Vim's visual mode, first with the listed configuration and then in vanilla Hyper. Compare normal and visual mode rendering, focusing on why white text disappears; done means selected text remains visible while words are selected.
