Description

  • I am on the latest Hyper.app version
  • I have searched the issues of this repo and believe that this is not a duplicate
  • Mac OS High Sierra:
  • 2.0:
  • .hyer.js nothing added to it:

I was working on debugging some log files using Vim (NeoVim). Suddenly, I felt it was moving slowly when just moving around in a file with 2000+ lines. I then tested it out with iTerm and it worked fine there, with no lag. Any idea?

Research direction

The report concerns Hyper on macOS with Neovim and a 2,000+ line file, but names no source file or test. Start by reproducing the lag in Hyper and comparing the same file in iTerm; done means identifying a reproducible cause and documenting a confirmed fix or limitation.
