Description

  • I am on the latest Hyper.app version
  • I have searched the issues of this repo and believe that this is not a duplicate
  • OS version and name: 10.13.4 macOS
  • Hyper.app version: 2.0.0
  • Link of a Gist with the contents of your .hyper.js:
  • Relevant information from devtools (CMD+ALT+I on macOS, CTRL+SHIFT+I elsewhere):
  • The issue is reproducible in vanilla Hyper.app:

Issue

I can't reproduce this consistently but I think it occasionally happens after I've used tmux over an SSH session. Every left click prints a random looking string on the terminal as can be seen in the attached file. If I open a new tab the problem does not happen in the new tab.

Research direction

No source file, test, or entry point is named. Start by reproducing the behavior in Hyper 2.0.0 on macOS after using tmux over SSH, comparing the affected tab with a newly opened tab and reviewing the attached recording. Done means left clicks no longer print random strings in the terminal.
