Alfred snippet text expansion doesn't work

Issue

Text expansion isn't working for me in hyper.js. I use Alfred snippet expansion in most of my workflows and it works fine in other apps like Atom, Terminal, and iTerm. When I type in my keyword, such as -gba which would expand to git branch -a, it just deletes the keyword instead of automatically expanding it like it should. This issue has been happening for quite a while, in previous hyper versions, and on previous macOS versions.

No file, test, or entry point is named. First reproduce the issue in vanilla Hyper on macOS with an Alfred snippet, then trace how terminal input handles the deleted keyword. Done means Alfred expansions insert their configured text in Hyper as they do in Atom, Terminal, and iTerm.
