Description

  • I am on the latest Hyper.app version
  • I have searched the issues of this repo and believe that this is not a duplicate
  • OS version and name: macOS Sierra version 10.12.6
  • Hyper.app version: 1.4.8 (stable)

Enhancement/Plugin Request

Drag and drop files onto a ssh connection will copy the file over.

This will be a very handy feature which is supported by some tools like SecureCRT. On an established ssh connection, dragging & dropping a file onto it will do the transfer.

I couldn't find any plugin which does this.

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by locating Hyper's drag-and-drop handling and the SSH session architecture, then determine how a dropped file could be transferred over an established connection. Done means defining and implementing the transfer behavior, including its user-facing result and coverage for the supported session types.
