Using keyboard shortcut to change between split terminals does not allow the use of cmd + k to clear terminal.
Open Hyper, use cmd + d to split views. Now, switch between the views and press cmd + k. Nothing happens, you're able to type and everything else though. I have to click inside the split terminal in order to clear.

No file or test is named in the issue. Reproduce the problem in Hyper on macOS by creating a split with cmd+d, switching views, and pressing cmd+k; done means cmd+k clears the selected terminal without requiring a click inside it.
