Description

Hi team,

AI Elements is an excellent component library for building AI applications. I'm wondering if there are any plans to support Svelte framework in addition to React?

Background
Since Vercel officially supports SvelteKit alongside Next.js, and the Svelte ecosystem has been growing rapidly, many developers are building AI applications with SvelteKit. Having AI Elements available for Svelte would create a more complete offering across Vercel's supported frameworks.

Request
Would you consider adding Svelte support to AI Elements? This could potentially include:

  • Svelte versions of core components (Message, Conversation, CodeBlock, etc.)
  • Maintaining similar API design for consistency
  • Integration with SvelteKit projects

Community Value
This would help expand AI Elements' reach to the growing Svelte developer community and provide a consistent AI component experience across all Vercel-supported frameworks.

Thanks for your consideration!

Research direction

No files or tests are named. Start by reviewing the existing React components and their APIs, especially Message, Conversation, and CodeBlock, then determine the scope needed for comparable Svelte components and SvelteKit integration. Done means Svelte support is available with consistent component behavior and API design.
