Description

Hi! Thanks for building AI Elements. It's been great to work with.

I noticed that the components currently use Lucide icons by default. In shadcn/ui, users can choose between several icon libraries (Lucide, Tabler, Hugeicons, Phosphor, Remix) when setting up their project.

Since many projects using AI Elements are already based on shadcn/ui, it would be helpful if AI Elements could support the same icon library options or adapt to the icon library already configured in a shadcn project.

Is there any plan to support additional icon libraries beyond Lucide?

I'd also be open to submitting a PR to help add support for this if that would be welcome.

Research direction

Start by reviewing how AI Elements currently uses Lucide icons and how shadcn/ui projects configure icon libraries. Clarify whether the goal is selectable libraries or adapting to an existing configuration, then define the supported options and compatibility expectations before implementation.
