Description
It'd be nice to see a "Metadata retrieval" section under "How it works" in the aws_ec2_metadata transform documentation. Just something that links to the metadata API, mentions the new token method, and how the data is cached on an interval.

Research direction
Start at the aws_ec2_metadata transform documentation and its “How it works” section. Review the AWS metadata API reference and document the token method and the interval used to cache data. Done means the page includes a clear “Metadata retrieval” section covering those points.
