Simple Window Switcher with Windows 11 taskbar broken since ExplorerPatcher v26100.8457.70.1

Describe the bug

1. Install ExplorerPatcher version 26100.8457.70.1
2. Enable Simple Window Switcher (ExplorerPatcher -> Window Switcher -> Window switcher (Alt+Tab) style -> selecting Simple Window Switcher), no matter what Show Delay value is selected
3. switch windows via Alt+Tab
4. no window switcher UI is displayed + switching moves forward only and not forward and back when performing Alt+Tab twice consecutively

Expected outcome

The standard outcome after using Alt+Tab (no matter what window switcher style is selected) is to display window switcher UI with windows miniatures first and then switch windows. And when performing Alt+Tab twice consecutively, the user should get back to a window where Alt+Tab was initiated for the first time.

Actual outcome

No window switching UI with windows miniatures is displayed. And when performing Alt+Tab twice consecutively, windows are switched forward only, not one step forward and one step back.

Additional info

I went back to older ExplorerPatcher version 26100.4946.69.6 and everything works fine in terms of Simple Window Switcher, so the new ExplorerPatcher version is to blame.

I'm not able to get window switching UI with windows miniatures in ExplorerPatcher version 26100.8457.70.1. The one depicted on the screenshot comes from older ExplorerPatcher version 26100.4946.69.6 where things seem to work fine.

Start by reproducing the failure through ExplorerPatcher → Window Switcher with Simple Window Switcher enabled, using Alt+Tab on Windows 11 25H2 build 26200.8457. Compare version 26100.8457.70.1 with 26100.4946.69.6. Done means the switcher UI appears and two consecutive Alt+Tab presses return to the original window.
