Before reporting your issue
  • I have confirmed that this issue does not happen when ExplorerPatcher is not installed
  • I do not have "register as shell extension" enabled
  • I have tried my best to check existing issues
Repro ExplorerPatcher versions

EP 26100.4946.69.6 (and previous version, since approx. 2 years)

Windows 25H2 Build 26200.8457

Describe the bug

Having multiple desktops (3 in this case) when switching with ctrl+winKey+arrow[left|right] explorer comstantly crashes, sometimes restarts itself, but mostly hangs with taskbar vanishes and has to be restarted manually.

Expected outcome

no crash

Actual outcome

explorer crashes, restarts 2/3 times then hangs with taskbar vanished, explorer windows all gone
