Problem with custom commitHandler with Grid Editor

I use the latest 7.6.8 version of Vaadin and when I use a grid editor, I obtain a NullPointerException whenever I try to save a bean in a custom CommitHandler.

My bean is actually saved in the postCommit() method and there is no other problem detected (all the code in the postCommit() is well executed).

Start in FieldGroup.java at commitTransactions (line 567) and follow the call from commit (line 485) through Grid.java's saveEditor (line 6848). Reproduce the failure with a Grid editor and custom CommitHandler, then verify that saving no longer raises the reported NullPointerException while postCommit() still executes.
