Description
When I'm using HierarchicalDataProvider, I want to be able to call withConfigurableFilter and still get a HierarchicalDataProvider; currently it doesn't and setting the result to e.g. TreeGrid throws an exception.
Example:
this.totalGridSize = newDataProvider.size( new HierarchicalQuery<CrudTreeGridItem, Void>(null, null) );
Exception:
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Hierarchical data provider doesn't support non-hierarchical queries

Research direction
Start with HierarchicalDataProvider.fetch and DataProviderWrapper.fetch, using the shown HierarchicalQuery and TreeGrid scenario to reproduce the exception. Trace how withConfigurableFilter is applied and verify that the resulting provider remains usable by TreeGrid without rejecting hierarchical queries.
