Research direction

Start by comparing the listed options for cksum, cut, date, ln, more, mv, numfmt, and touch with the corresponding GNU behavior and the existing uutils command implementations. Check how the cat command represents ignored options, especially for cut and touch. Done means the listed options are accounted for consistently, including the ignored options where appropriate, with command behavior or help output matching the intended scope.
