Description
Hi, uutils mainteners
we see the uu fold, terminates immediately when the file is /dev/snd/timer, while the gnu one blocking waiting for device response
in our test we did
relunsec@relunsec:~/software/coreutils/target/debug$ ./fold /dev/snd/timer
relunsec@relunsec:~/software/coreutils/target/debug$ gnufold /dev/snd/timer
as i see the uu fold just terminates not wait, while the gnu fold wait for receive something from the device

Research direction
Reproduce the report with ./fold /dev/snd/timer and gnufold /dev/snd/timer, then locate the fold command's input-handling entry point. Compare how each command behaves while waiting for device input; done means uu fold no longer exits immediately for this device and existing fold behavior remains intact.
