Can't install the software because it is not currently available from the Software Update server

I know this is an existing issue but they are for different things that people tried to download. I am extremely new to coding, I am trying to use claude code and it tells me I "The "git" command requires the command line developer tools." So when I click install then agree to the terms of service it hits me with: "Can’t install the software because it is not currently available from the Software Update server." help would be appreciated.
