UTM Crashes Mullvad DNS Resolver

**Describe the issue**
I run Mullvad VPN on my MBP. Whenever I run a UTM VM, DNS resolution crashes on my Mac (no servers can be reached) but DNS works fine in the VM. Mullvad proxies DNS so all requests are tunneled. It runs a resolver on 127.0.0.1.

There is nothing in any logs which give a clue what is occurring here. Any guidance on where to begin debugging this issue would be appreciated.
