UTM crashes when unplugging SSD when "querying USB devices"

**Describe the issue**
After disconnecting an USB device from UTM VM access, trying to reconnect it to the VM results in a hang while it's "Querying USB devices...". Unplugging the USB device crashes UTM immediately. May be related to #4942.

**Configuration**
* UTM Version: 4.4.4
* macOS Version: 14.1
* Mac Chip (Intel, M1, ...): M2
