GPU acceleration in Apple backend mode not posible - Ubuntu 22.04 ARM Guest

**Describe the issue**
I have tried using the Apple backend to run Ubuntu 22.04 ARM in desktop mode. However the graphics do not seem to be GPU accelerated and there isn't an option in the setting to enable it. Is it possible to use GPU graphics acceleration? When running a small GL demo (nanovg example) the guest CPU spikes to around 300%. Using the same demo under QEMU with VirGL GPU supported driver only uses about 3% CPU for the same demo.
