Description

Image

The "Submit contribution" button is greyed out and says I need to push a branch, which I've already done.

The branch is not visible here,

but it is visible here:

I thought... maybe I just pushed an unmodified branch:

but the button was still greyed out.

Eventually I noticed I wasn't signed in, but the experience seemed misleading. I'm not sure why I'm ever not signed in, TBH, so I get caught by surprise by stuff like this a lot. Which I guess is good because then I can create the ticket :-)

Contributor guide

No contributing guide indexed for this repository

First steps

  1. Read the whole issue, then the project's contributing guide.
  2. Comment on the issue to say you are picking it up — it saves two people doing the same work.
  3. Fork the repository and make your change on a branch.
  4. Open a pull request that references the issue number.

Research direction

No source files, tests, or entry points are identified in the report. Reproduce the contribution flow while signed out and compare it with the signed-in state; done should mean the disabled button clearly explains the sign-in requirement or otherwise guides the user to recover.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.
