Description

The vardes has an option
ipfres /0/ : switch for PF coil type:
= 0 superconducting PF coils;
= 1 resistive PF coils
However, it is not clear if this applies to the Central Solenoid, which should probably have its own switch.

Research direction
Start by locating the vardes handling and the existing ipfres option in PROCESS. Trace how the Central Solenoid coil type is currently determined, then define and implement a separate switch with corresponding tests or documentation so resistive and superconducting Central Solenoid behavior is unambiguous.
