Description
Zoom meeting productivity settings
Editing Zoom meeting settings is not retroactively applied to existing meetings unless they are "legacy" meetings. I do not know at what date newly created meetings stopeed being "legacy" meetings and started being treated as "first class objects" in the Zoom system.
For new meetings you will need to edit their settings starting here: https://uab.zoom.us/meeting.
For legacy meetings, be aware that changing your settings will impact those meetings, so you may need to "unedit" them to restore the original settings you had.
Meeting automation
How can I automatically allow others to annotate shared screens during meetings?
Settings Meetings Tab under "Annotation" uncheck the box shown labeled "Only the user who is sharing can annotate."
How can I automatically enable screen sharing?
Settings Meetings Tab under "Screen sharing" under "Who can share?" select "All Participants".
How can I enable recording automatically?
Settings Recording Tab under "Automatical Recording" enable the toggle slider.
How can I enable the AI Companion automatically?
Settings AI Companion Tab under "Meeting summary with AI Companion" check the "Turn on meeting summary automatically when meetings start" checkbox.
How can I allow attendees query the AI Companion automatically?
Settings AI Companion Tab under "Allow users to ask AI Companion questions about the meeting" check the "Automatically allow access when the meeting starts" checkbox.
What do I do if I can't find my meeting in the Previous or Upcoming lists?
Find the Meeting ID from the "join meeting" URL, or from within the meeting itself, or anywhere else. These IDs tend to be 11 numeric digits.
Then append the ID to the meeting URL like the following example:
https://uab.zoom.us/meeting/01234567890
