Description
- Obtain the CrashPlan client.
- Navigate to https://console.us2.crashplan.com/.
- Enter your uab.edu email address.
- Sign in with UAB SSO.
- Hover or click "ADMINISTRATION" on the top navigation bar.
- A roll-out menu bar will appear.
- Under "Client Management" click "Downloads".
- Select your
- Install the CrashPlan client.
- Follow the instructions.
- When prompted to log in, use your uab.edu email address for username and
central.crashplan.comfor the server. - Sign in with UAB SSO.
- Configure the CrashPlan client. Documentation is available here https://support.crashplan.com/hc/en-us
- The "Destination" should be configured already and it should be something like "PROe Cloud, US"
- "Security" should be managed for you.
- You'll want to add one or more "Backup Sets" to actually back up files from your local machine to the cloud.
