Research direction

Start with the two Typst examples in the issue and compare the line-breaking behavior of plain text with $R$-module. Trace the text layout and line-breaking entry points until you find where equation and hyphen boundaries are handled; done means the equation and following hyphen remain on the same line without regressing ordinary breaks.
